shadow CV

Our CVs present a distorted view of our career trajectories. This (periodically updated) page is my attempt at normalizing failures, struggles, and mistakes in science and academia. There's probably a million caveats to this, but one important one I'd like to emphasize is that these are professional struggles and failures. They do not include the many societal injustices that academics  of marginalized intersectional identities face while still having to do their job.

I'm not the first to have this idea, as you can see here, herehere, and here.
